ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for Test Manager to lead QA strategy, delivery and automation for our product/platform. The ideal candidate will ensure consistent product quality while collaborating across products, engineering and DevOps teams
Job Description:
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools and processes
- Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and test automation frameworks.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal & problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in Agile or DevOps environments is highly desirable.
- Relevant testing certifications (ISTQB, CSTE, etc.) are a plus.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, specifications, and deadlines
- Coordinate with development teams to prioritize and resolve defects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software
- Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance and training
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software projects
- Manage the execution of testing phases, including functional, regression, performance and integration testing
- Monitor and report on testing progress, defect trends and overall product quality
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and methodologies related to software testing and quality assurance
- Ensure that testing processes adhere to established quality standards and compliance requirements
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks and tools
