Job Description

CES is hiring a US Federal & State Taxation Specialist with hands-on experience in filing U.S. federal and multi-state tax returns.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and file U.S. Federal tax returns: Individual (1040), Corporate (1120), Partnership (1065).
File U.S. State tax returns (corporate, partnership, individual) across multiple states.
Handle franchise, excise, sales/use, and payroll tax filings at the state level.
Manage multi-state compliance including nexus, apportionment, and allocation rules.
Stay updated with IRS and state tax law changes and ensure timely compliance.
Work with U.S. tax preparation software (Drake, ProSeries, Lacerte, UltraTax).

Preferred candidate profile

37 years of direct experience in U.S. tax return filing (federal + state).
Strong knowledge of multi-state corporate and individual tax compliance.
Experience with nexus determination, apportionment, and state-level obligations.
Proficiency in U.S. tax software (Drake, ProSeries, Lacerte, UltraTax).
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with U.S. teams.
