Job Description
Hands on skills on polymer sheet extrusions, Operates and maintains plastic extrusion lines in the manufacture of plastic sheet
May have production experience of all types of geomembrane products
Monitor, measure and report on production related process performance, general issues.
To work closely with other Shift Supervisors to ensure production handovers are effective communications tools
Technical writing and oral communication skills. Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills are required
Demonstrate exceptional teamwork and customer service; behave professionally.
Must have regular, reliable attendance as well as the ability to work outside the regular schedule as required.
Understands the difference in raw materials and how to identify them, Operate various extrusion machines to produce and maintain quality plastic sheet, Perform quality checks and complete inspection records as required
Ability to effectively operate the plant manufacturing processes as evaluated by the process checklists, Complete the Production
Operator progression and process checklists
Should have skills to train new operators and make sure they are trained well within specified timeline
Should have knowledge of material like Polyproylene, HDPE, LDPE, PET etc
