Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly accomplished Director of Technical Operations India to establish, lead, and scale our
Bengaluru-based technical delivery center. This role requires a seasoned technologist and people leader with proven
expertise in cloud, automation, security, and managed services delivery for global enterprise clients. You will serve as
a direct extension of US-based senior leadership, ensuring delivery excellence, building a high-performance engineering
culture, and driving mission-critical outcomes for clients across manufacturing, healthcare, and finance sectors.
Key Skills:
- Microsoft 365, Azure, and modern cloud platforms.
- DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and automation frameworks.
- Networking, Security, and Observability tools (e.g., Datadog, AppInsights).
- SLA-driven Managed Services delivery (L2L4 support, NOC/SOC).
- Executive stakeholder engagement (CIOs, CTOs, and Enterprise Engineering leads).
- Team leadership, culture building, and top-talent hiring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Culture: Build and lead a high-performing Bengaluru engineering team with a culture of ownership,
excellence, and velocity.
- Technical Delivery: Oversee delivery quality across Microsoft 365, Azure, DevOps, Observability, Security,
Networking, and Infrastructure Automation.
- Talent Development: Attract, mentor, and retain top 10% engineers; serve as a visible and credible technical
leader.
- Client Alignment: Collaborate directly with US CTO, Solutions Directors, and enterprise clients; represent India
operations in technical conversations.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure SLA-based delivery across managed services, automation, and modernization
programs.
- Growth & Scaling: Shape India operations as they evolve from a boutique model to a scalable 24/7 enterprisegrade center.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 10+ years of technical leadership in managed services or consulting.
- Hands-on expertise in Azure, Microsoft 365, DevOps, Networking, Security, and Observability tools.
- Proven track record of building and leading engineering teams in India or the US.
- Strong communication and executive presence to interface with US-based senior stakeholders.
- Comfort with cloud-native and automation-first delivery models.
Preferred
- Experience with US manufacturing, healthcare, or mid-market IT operations.
- Background in productizing services and automation-first initiatives.
- Certifications in Azure, M365, Kubernetes, or related technologies.
