Position: Azure DevOps Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Azure DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate should have deep experience with the Azure DevOps suite (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans, Artifacts), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and hands-on scripting/programming skills in Python.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams using Azure Boards to track work, manage sprints, and deliver features on time.
- Manage source control, branching strategies, and code reviews using Azure Repos (Git).
- Integrate automated testing and quality checks using Azure Test Plans.
- Manage package versions and dependencies using Azure Artifacts.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.
- Automate operational processes using Python scripts and tooling.
- Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of CI/CD processes and infrastructure.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize DevOps workflows, infrastructure, and deployments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, QA, and operations teams to improve release cycles and delivery speed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering, with at least 3+ years in Azure DevOps.
- Strong expertise in the Azure DevOps suite:
- Azure Boards (Agile planning & tracking)
- Azure Repos (Git-based source control)
- Azure Pipelines (CI/CD automation)
- Azure Test Plans (test case management & automation)
- Azure Artifacts (package management)
- Proven experience in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Strong scripting/programming skills in Python for automation and integration.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD best practices, branching strategies, and release management.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure) services (VMs, Networking, Containers, AKS, etc.).
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Azure Certifications (e.g., AZ-400: Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions).
- Experience in monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights).
- Exposure to security best practices in DevOps (e.g., secrets management, compliance).
