Job Description
- Person should have knowledge of blown film extrusion of polyethylene material especially for shrink film. He may also have experience in plastic polymer extrusion field
- The Blown Film Process production person is responsible for producing products by monitoring and adjusting and setting up all of the blown film extrusion lines on the shift.
- Should have knowledge of multilayer blown film production
- Should have knowledge of production of all types of Polyethylene bags for various purposes like roll to roll garbage bags, stretch film and other purpose polyethylene films
- Responsible for optimal resource utilization and streamlining of activities within the section
- Responsible for supervising all production activities in the assigned section to ensure production as per planned schedule and to address any issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate production and quality control records. Should be able to provide production plan with maximum output in minimum possible timeline
- Complete timely quality control checks
- Adjust equipment as needed to correct problems on the line Set up all lines
- Responsible for all changeovers during the shift of blown film extrusion
- Train other operators in the shift
- Assist Supervisor with troubleshooting production issues
- Responsible for optimal resource utilization and streamlining of activities within the section
- Identify implement action steps to reduce losses and wastages during shift operation and ensure minimum rejection of production
