Role Overview
- We are seeking a passionate and skilled Senior SDET to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Selenium, Appium, and hands-on experience in both iOS and Android automation. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks to ensure product quality and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Appium.
- Build and execute automated test scripts for Web, iOS, and Android platforms.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test strategies.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and cross-platform testing.
- Ensure high-quality releases through continuous automation in CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify, log, and track defects, providing root cause analysis where required.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to improving overall QA practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3 5 years of hands-on experience in test automation.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming.
- Solid experience with Selenium WebDriver for web automation.
- Proven experience in Appium automation for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Good understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Strong debugging and analytical skills.
Good to Have
- Knowledge of JMeter for performance testing.
- Experience in API automation testing (e.g., RestAssured, Postman, etc.).
- Exposure to cloud device farms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, AWS Device Farm).
