Job Description
- As a QA Manager with over 10 years of experience, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance protocols and procedures. Your role will involve conducting root cause analysis to address quality issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality throughout the design and post-production phases. Internal and external audits to ensure regulatory compliance will also be a part of your responsibilities. You will analyze quality data to identify trends for improvement, oversee testing processes including automated and manual testing, and prepare quality documentation and reports. Training staff on quality standards, collaborating with vendors and customers to address quality-related issues, and leading efforts to implement process improvements will be crucial aspects of your role. Additionally, managing test platforms and environments, designing and developing QA load/automation tools, and using Scrum methodology are essential in this position. In terms of job requirements, you should have a strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Quality Assurance processes, along with experience in test case and test plan documentation. Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, Rest and SOAP API testing, web service and API testing tools, JSON, XML, YAML, and bug tracking tools like JIRA are necessary. Exposure to testing SPA, responsive web applications, mobile apps, cross-browser compatibility, scriptless/codeless test automation platforms, load testing tools, security testing, and leading a team of QA Engineers are also important qualifications. As a QA Manager, you should possess competencies such as the ability to work independently and collaboratively, self-motivation, and strong written and oral communication skills. Presenting to both large and small groups will be part of your responsibilities. Ideally, you should have 10-12 years of relevant work experience supporting large-scale IT applications. Working from the office in Chennai, you should be able to start immediately or within 15 days.,
