Your primary responsibilities will include all aspects of software engineering, from requirements analysis to code development and testing. You will design and implement performance enhancements, develop reusable components and frameworks to drive innovation within the team, and review code to ensure compliance with best practices. Collaborate with a team of software engineers in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software releases. Troubleshoot and provide solutions for production support issues post-deployment, while continuously enhancing existing software components to meet business requirements. Work closely with architecture groups to drive secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions. Contribute to design and architecture discussions, articulating the implications of decisions to technology leadership. Collaborate with team members, product owners, and participate in mentoring activities. Ensure compliance with employment contracts, company policies, and procedures, adapting to changing business environments as needed. **Required Qualifications:** - Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience - Proficiency in Docker or Kubernetes - Experience with messaging and stream processing using Kafka or similar technologies - Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure - Proficiency in Javascript, Typescript, HTML, Node, CSS - Experience with React Frameworks (e.g., Abyss for internal UHG candidates) or other React frameworks - Experience in supporting web applications in complex enterprise environments - Knowledge of web security and vulnerability management - Proficiency in building modular, testable, and reusable software - Experience integrating with RESTful services, DevOps toolsets (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform), and mobile-first design principles - Understanding of Authorization, OAuth, API integration, and Agile Scrum & Kanban methodologies **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with React Native and Mobile Development - Strong programming skills in C# If you are passionate about making a difference in healthcare technology and possess the required qualifications and experience, we encourage you to apply as an external candidate.
