Job Description
- As a UX/UI Developer at Thoucentric, you will be responsible for managing the frontend of applications built on a cloud-based platform powered by AWS technologies. Your role will involve collaborating closely with backend teams, utilizing technologies such as Docker, React, Node.js, and JavaScript. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing user interfaces, maintaining frontend components and libraries, integrating APIs and services, and ensuring applications are responsive, performant, and accessible. Additionally, you will be involved in user research, usability testing, wireframing, prototyping, and creating high-fidelity designs. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement user interfaces for web applications using React and JavaScript. - Develop and maintain frontend components and libraries. - Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and services. - Ensure the application is responsive, performant, and accessible. - Utilize Docker for containerization and deployment. - Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and JFrog Artifactory. - Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions. - Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. Required Skills: - Proficiency in React, Node.js, and JavaScript. - Experience with Docker for containerization. - Strong understanding of frontend development and design principles. - Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based platforms. - Knowledge of Atlassian suite (Bitbucket, Confluence, JIRA). - Ability to create responsive and accessible designs. - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications: - B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in a UX/UI developer role. - Experience with user research and usability testing. - Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD. - Understanding of version control systems like Git. - Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques. - Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Strong portfolio showcasing previous UX/UI projects.
