Patient Relations Specialist @ Fastsurance

Job Description

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Patient Relations Specialist. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for patients, assisting them in understanding the terms and conditions of their health insurance policies. Additionally, you will be responsible for facilitating the reimbursement process by accurately filing reimbursement forms on behalf of the patients.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with patients to provide clear explanations of their health insurance policy terms and conditions.
• Assist patients in understanding coverage details, including copayments, deductibles, and benefits.
• Guide patients through the reimbursement process and ensure accurate completion of reimbursement forms.
• Stay updated on changes in insurance policies, regulations, and procedures related to reimbursement.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting or insurance company, specifically in dealing with third-party administrators (TPAs) and health insurance processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to patients.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in computer applications like Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards. Knowledge of medical terminology
