Sap Transformation Service - S/4 Hana Data Migration Expert @ Mercedes Benz

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data migration strategies across SAP templates (e.g., ECC to S4, S4 to S4), aligning with business goals and transformation timelines
• Lead and manage a team of data migration specialists; drive efficiencies through resource optimization and proactive planning
• Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to define migration scope and ensure alignment across P2P, O2C, and RTR processes
• Ensure data quality through profiling, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and compliance throughout the migration lifecycle
• Define and manage a robust ETL toolset for a factory-model execution, leveraging tools like SAP Data Services, LSMW, LTMC, and Syniti
• Innovate and automate migration use cases using emerging technologies such as AI
• Maintain documentation and provide timely project updates and dashboards for all stakeholders
• Identify and resolve issues throughout the migration lifecycle, ensuring minimal impact to the overall transformation

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP data structures, ABAP, and data migration tools (SAP Data Services, LSMW, LTMC)
• Proficient in SQL and experienced in data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Prior experience working with third-party tools like Syniti or equivalent is a plus
• 8-12 years of relevant experience in SAP data migration, with exposure to global transformation programs
• Strong communication and leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams
• Ability to conduct workshops and collaborate effectively with global stakeholders
