- Prepare and maintain the operating room, ensuring it is equipped with all necessary surgical instruments and supplies.
- Assist in the preparation of patients for surgery, which includes positioning them properly and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Support surgeons and surgical teams during procedures by passing instruments, managing surgical tools, and observing sterile techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures and equipment used.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and infection control protocols.
- Conduct regular checks and maintenance of surgical equipment to ensure functionality.
