Job Description
- As an Embedded Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating sensors with IoT nodes and gateways to facilitate seamless data transmission to AWS IoT Core. Your role will involve working with microcontrollers such as STM32, ESP32, NRF, TI, etc., and various embedded platforms to collect sensor data. You will develop firmware for IoT devices using languages like C, C++, MicroPython, and FreeRTOS. Your key responsibilities will include interfacing sensors like temperature, vibration, pressure, accelerometers, etc., with IoT nodes, optimizing power consumption for battery-operated devices, and working with various communication protocols such as ADC/DAC, I2C, SPI, UART, Modbus, and RS485. Additionally, you will be involved in the development of edge computing applications for devices like Raspberry Pi, Jetson Nano, and custom IoT gateways, and implementing communication protocols like MQTT, HTTP, CoAP, LoRa, BLE, Zigbee, Modbus, NB-IoT, and LTE-M. You will also play a crucial role in ensuring secure communication with AWS IoT Core through TLS/SSL encryption. This will involve developing device shadows, MQTT topics, and rules engine to process sensor data, connecting IoT devices to AWS services like AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and Greengrass, and implementing data logging, analytics, and monitoring dashboards. Moreover, you will be responsible for debugging hardware and firmware using tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG debuggers, performing unit testing and field validation of IoT nodes and gateways, and documenting firmware, device configurations, and cloud interactions. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems. - Experience with IoT protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, and WebSockets. - Hands-on experience with AWS IoT Core, Greengrass, Lambda, and cloud integration. - Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr) and low-power design. - Familiarity with wireless communication technologies like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRa, Zigbee, LTE-M, and NB-IoT. - Knowledge of PCB design, debugging, and hardware prototyping is a plus. This is a full-time position with benefits including Provident Fund. The work schedule is during day shifts and morning shifts, and the work location is in person.
