Job Description
- You should have at least 8 years of experience in automated testing and QA. Your expertise should include browser automation using tools like Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools. You must be proficient in cross-browser testing to ensure compatibility across various browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and different devices. In terms of technical skills, you should be well-versed in Java, JavaScript, or Python for writing automated test scripts. Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Playwright for end-to-end browser automation is essential. You should also have knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI for integrating tests into the development pipeline, along with familiarity with Version Control Systems like Git. Experience with API testing and integrating automated API tests with browser automation is a plus. Additionally, familiarity with TestNG or JUnit for organizing and running automated test cases is required. Your testing knowledge should include a strong understanding of test automation frameworks, including data-driven and keyword-driven testing. Experience with regression testing, smoke testing, and end-to-end testing in a browser environment is necessary. Knowledge of performance and load testing tools for web applications such as Lighthouse, WebPageTest, JMeter is preferred. Your responsibilities will involve designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for browser-based applications using tools like Selenium WebDriver, Cypress. You will also be expected to build and maintain robust test automation frameworks and enhance existing ones to improve automation efficiency. Conducting cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure seamless application functionality on popular browsers and devices is crucial. Collaborating with the team to automate performance testing of web applications using tools like Lighthouse or WebPageTest is also part of the role. As part of test execution and reporting, you will be responsible for executing automated test suites, tracking defects, and providing detailed bug reports using tools such as JIRA and TestRail.,
