Job Description
- You are invited to join our team at Coforge for the position of Automation Testing. As an Automation Testing professional, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing. This role requires a solid background in software testing, with a focus on test automation using tools such as Selenium, along with proficiency in programming languages like Java or JavaScript. To excel in this role, you should have 3-10 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3-5 years dedicated to test automation. Your responsibilities will include performing functional, integration, and regression testing, developing clear and detailed test plans and test cases, and executing both manual and automated test cases efficiently. You will also be expected to validate UI elements, workflows, reports, and dashboards for accuracy and functionality, ensuring seamless functionality across modules through end-to-end testing. Furthermore, you will lead and mentor a team of testers/SDETs, providing technical guidance and best practices. Your role will involve defining and implementing test strategies, automation frameworks, and testing roadmaps, as well as overseeing the design, development, and execution of automated test scripts for various systems including web, mobile, API, and backend. Additionally, you will review design specifications, analyze project requirements, and create effective test plans to ensure comprehensive test coverage. You will be responsible for managing defect reporting, tracking, and resolution processes to maintain high software quality standards. Root cause analysis will also be a part of your responsibilities to prevent recurring issues and enhance test efficiency.
