Job Description
- As a Development Engineer at Hitachi Vantara, you will play a crucial role in the Development, deployment, automation, and maintenance of the new VSP360 Platform. Your responsibilities will involve working with cutting-edge technologies and tools to ensure the smooth functioning of the platform. To be successful in this role, you are required to have 2-5 years of experience in GitHub-based DevOps practices. Additionally, a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is essential. You should have expertise in cloud-based services and experience in managing Kubernetes clusters. Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Jenkins, GitHub, and similar tools is expected. Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Nagios, ELK, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, or similar ones will be beneficial for this position. Desirable qualifications include experience with Anthos/Istio Service Mesh or similar tools, knowledge of Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) projects, Kubernetes Operators, KeyCloak, and Linux systems administration.
