Job Description
- Perform OS installation, configuration, and upgrades on desktop systems.
- Provide hardware networking support, including troubleshooting and repair of network issues.
- Conduct regular maintenance and repair of desktop hardware to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist users with Microsoft Outlook and OST file management, ensuring seamless email communication.
- Utilize ticketing tools to track and resolve user issues efficiently.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems, providing timely solutions.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance overall service delivery and support.
- Document technical procedures and user guides to improve knowledge sharing within the team.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices in desktop support.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in desktop support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, hardware components, and networking principles.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to desktop environments.
- Experience with ticketing tools and customer support processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified) are a plus.
