Job Description
- As a QA Lead at our organization, you will be an integral part of our quality assurance team. Working closely with the QA Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of testing activities. Your role will involve leading and mentoring a team of QA engineers, defining effective testing strategies, and ensuring high performance and accountability within the team. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with the QA Manager to implement testing best practices, coordinating testing efforts across multiple projects, executing test cases (both manual and automated), and maintaining clear documentation of defects. You will review and contribute to test documentation, communicate QA issues effectively to stakeholders, monitor QA metrics, and actively participate in project planning and retrospectives. To excel in this role, you should have 8-10 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2-3 years in a lead position. A solid understanding of QA fundamentals, software testing methodologies, and experience in designing test strategies and plans are essential. Your analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills will be crucial, along with hands-on experience in API testing and performance testing. Proficiency in QA tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Selenium, Postman, and Jenkins is required, as well as familiarity with both manual and automated testing processes. Preferred qualifications include experience in Agile/Scrum environments, exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, and knowledge of security testing. Possessing an ISTQB or equivalent QA certification will be advantageous in this role. In addition to technical skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities are essential for effective collaboration and leadership. As a QA Lead, you will be expected to lead by example, maintain high-quality standards, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts in testing processes and tools.,
