Job Description
- You are an experienced Java Selenium API Tester looking to join our Quality Engineering & Assurance (QEA) team. You should have a strong background in automation testing, hands-on experience with Selenium, TestNG, and Cucumber, as well as expertise in backend testing. The role requires you to work in a fast-paced agile environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the highest quality of software deliverables. Your key responsibilities will include developing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure robust software quality. You will design and maintain automated testing frameworks using Selenium, TestNG, and Cucumber for efficient test execution. Applying expertise in Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) will be essential to enhance test processes. Furthermore, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve quality issues. Utilizing GitHub and Jenkins for version control will be key to ensuring seamless continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. You will also develop, maintain, and execute test scripts using Java and JavaScript to enhance automation and test coverage. Additionally, you will conduct thorough testing for Cable Technologies and Equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and requirements. Performing backend validation and data integrity checks using PL/SQL will be crucial to support application reliability. Engaging in Scrum ceremonies and utilizing Maven for project build management are also part of the role. Your responsibilities will also include generating detailed test reports, tracking defects in Jira, and providing actionable insights to improve software quality. As a senior team member, you will guide and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and quality assurance best practices.
