Job Description
- The Web Developer I role based in India involves developing and maintaining web and back office applications using .NET development platforms. As a Web Developer I, you will analyze, design, code, debug, test, and document software applications. Your responsibilities will encompass all stages of the software development life cycle, focusing on both new and existing applications. Quick response to issues raised by internal and external customers is essential while ensuring adherence to Mouser standards. Your key responsibilities as a Web Developer I include evaluating software programs based on user requests, producing technical specifications, and estimating time for completion. You will develop, test, and implement applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, SQL Server, Visual Studio, TFS, CSS, JQuery, Bootstrap, JSON, AJAX, and other related web technologies. Familiarity with Digital Experience Platform (DXP), Web Content Management (WCMS or CMS), and Microsoft .NET technologies is required. To succeed in this role, you must have a solid understanding of web-based Microsoft technologies, database design, SQL, T-SQL scripts, and stored procedures in SQL Server. Additionally, you will develop applications for a multiplatform environment supporting a global customer base. Knowledge of Agile software development methodology and adherence to best practices in software development are crucial. You will be expected to ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, conduct unit and integration tests, and collaborate with technical and business users for validation testing. Effective communication skills, teamwork, and collaboration with various stakeholders including business analysts, designers, architects, other developers, and quality analysts are essential. Skills and certifications required for the Web Developer I position include proficiency in .NET Framework, ASP.NET Web Forms, C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, SQL Server, Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server (TFS), Bootstrap, Web API, LINQ, XML, JSON, AJAX, and other relevant technologies. Experience with Dot Net Full Stack development, UI development, handling production environments, analyzing production issues, and root cause identification using support tools is beneficial. A Bachelor's degree and 0-4 years of experience in Web Development utilizing the mentioned languages, tools, and applications are required for this role.
