Job Description

As a Geophysicist at our company, you will be responsible for managing 2D/3D/4D seismic data to drive operational excellence. Your role will involve quality checking seismic data received from vendors and other Geoscientists, as well as improving data quality processes through automation and scripting to ensure seamless integration of seismic traces across various systems of records. You will collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Geoscience, and vendors to provide insights on the seismic data life-cycle. Hands-on experience with Petrel and Hampson Russel Software is a must, and knowledge of Mapping Software such as Arc-GIS and QGIS is also required. Familiarity with Data Visualization Tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Spotfire will be beneficial. Additionally, knowledge of Python and MATLAB is considered an added advantage. Strong verbal and communication skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team. To be considered for this position, you must possess a Post Graduate or equivalent Degree in Geophysics/Geosciences and have a work experience ranging from 3 to 10 years. Candidates with only Mud Logging experience may not be considered for this opportunity.,
