Your responsibilities will include designing and developing solutions to meet user requirements, ensuring seamless user experiences, and taking ownership of subsystems from design to maintenance. You will be expected to write clean, high-quality code, identify and address performance bottlenecks, and mentor junior engineers to uphold coding standards and best practices. Collaboration with various teams, including management, product, QA, and UI/UX designers, will be essential for successful feature development and delivery while maintaining a focus on quality and timely delivery. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field and have at least 2 years of experience in backend development with Java. Proficiency in Java, object-oriented programming, and Java frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate is required. Additionally, hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, RDBMS, NoSQL databases, cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ is highly desirable. Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines, coupled with strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills, will be beneficial. Effective communication and the ability to work in cross-functional teams are also essential qualities for success in this role.
