Job Description
- As an Infoscion, your primary role within the Infosys consulting team will involve delving deep into customer issues, diagnosing problem areas, designing innovative solutions, and overseeing their deployment to ensure client satisfaction. You will contribute to proposal development by taking ownership of specific sections of the proposal document and providing insights into solution design based on your expertise. Your responsibilities will extend to planning configuration activities, configuring products as per the design, conducting conference room pilots, and assisting in addressing any queries related to requirements and solution design. In addition, you will be involved in conducting solution and product demonstrations, Proof of Concept (POC) workshops, and preparing effort estimates that align with customer budgetary constraints and organizational financial guidelines. You will actively lead small projects and participate in unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-adding solutions to customers. Key Technical Requirements include proficiency in Technology Infrastructure, Server Administration, MS Windows Technology, Server Virtualization (specifically Vmware vCloud), and Vmware vSphere. A solid understanding of software configuration management systems, awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends, logical reasoning, problem-solving capabilities, and effective collaboration skills are essential for this role. Furthermore, familiarity with financial processes across various project types and pricing models, the capacity to identify process enhancement opportunities, recommend technology solutions, and possess expertise in at least one or two industry domains are advantageous. Proficiency in client interfacing, project management, and team management skills are highly desirable for success in this role.
