Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Creative Cover Designer to join our publishing
production team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will specialize in designing impactful and
specification-compliant covers for academic, K12 books, and journals, while ensuring
alignment with client requirements and production workflows.

Key Responsibilities
Design creative, high-quality covers that meet both artistic vision and client
specifications.
Analyze samples, RFP requirements, and project specifications to create tailored
designs.
Develop and deliver sample covers for client review and approval.
Collaborate with production, editorial, and marketing teams to ensure consistency in
branding and style.
Provide training and guidance to design and pagination teams on cover creation
standards.

Work directly with clients to interpret instructions and deliver cover designs that
exceed expectations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
810 years of experience in the publishing industry, with a focus on academic, K12
book, and journal production.
Expertise in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and
other relevant tools.
Strong creative skills combined with the ability to meet technical and production
requirements.
Proven ability to interpret customer instructions and deliver on specifications.
Experience in template creation, sample development, and training team members.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication
