We are looking for experienced Proofreaders with a strong command of English and a keen

eye for detail to work on humanities books and journals. The ideal candidate should be

passionate about editing and possess in-depth knowledge of various style guides.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform light, medium, and heavy proofreading of humanities books and journal

articles based on client specifications.

Apply editorial styles as per Chicago Manual of Style, APA, and Oxford Style

Manual.

Review and validate proofread content submitted by freelancers and in-house

editors.

Share constructive feedback and offer guidance to other proofreaders.

Ensure quality and schedule adherence for assigned projects.

Collaborate effectively as a team player, while also being able to work

independently.

Adapt to publisher-specific guidelines with flexibility.

Demonstrate problem-solving skills in addressing editorial or workflow issues.
