Job Description

In depth understanding and knowledge of both Visual Manufacturing V7 and V9
In depth knowledge of the inventory and costing processes in VM7 and VM9
Past experience upgrading clients from VM7 to VM9 and the ability to point out possible challenges in the transition
Experience in automating reporting and processes in VM to run automatically
Understanding of Access reports and relation to Visual Manufacturing
Excellent understanding of the data tables in VM
Excellent understanding of SQL and the ability to write scripts in SQL
Ability to write/revise reports in Access where needed (the goal is to move away from Access but we require support with our existing reports)
Excellent communication skills
Experience in project management
Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues
Desirable qualifications
Experience with Kronos would be an asset (or the ability to write interfaces between VM and Kronos)
Experience with Synoptics software and report writing would be an asset
Experience in working with Microsoft Dynamics 2011
CRM / ERP integration experience, The two intertwine in such a way this knowledge would be essential
Knowledge of using Scribe software, scripts are run through scribe to update information from our ERP to CRM currently
Experlogix Configurator software experience, this is critical to our products being integrated in Visual Manufacturing
Familiarity with the Jira platform
Visual Studio experience, Engineering use Visual Studio on an ongoing process for many tools
Citrix experience
