Job Description
- As a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT Hyderabad, you will be involved in the project titled "Application of Deep learning techniques for Robust Optimal Project Design of Integrated Water networks towards sustainable water management in Petroleum Refineries." Working under the guidance of Prof. Kishalay Mitra and Co-PI Prof. Raja Banerjee, you will be responsible for contributing to cutting-edge research in the field. To qualify for this position, you must hold a Ph.D. in Operations Research, Optimization, Applied Mathematics, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Additionally, expertise in mathematical modeling and multi-objective optimization is highly desirable. Candidates with experience in deep learning & AI techniques, a strong background in Nonlinear Programming (NLP) & Mixed-Integer Optimization (MILP/MINLP), large-scale optimization, computational modeling of water networks, industrial water management, GAMS/CPLEX, and proficiency in MATLAB coding will be given preference.
