Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer with strong expertise in WebAPI and
service-oriented architecture. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on
experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable APIs and backend services
using the .NET framework and .NET Core.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using .NET (.NET
Core/.NET 6+).
- Write clean, scalable, and secure code following best practices.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality
solutions.
- Optimize performance of APIs and services.
- Implement caching strategies for improved performance.
- Integrate and manage message queues such as Kafka.
- Implement unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Document technical designs, API specifications, and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues and support deployments.
Must-Have Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in .NET Core / ASP.NET WebAPI development.
- Strong understanding of REST architecture and HTTP protocols.
- Proficiency in C#, Entity Framework (EF Core), and LINQ.
- Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Experience with Redis and caching strategies.
- Experience with Kafka for event-driven communication.
- Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Microservices architecture
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Azure/AWS cloud services.
- Exposure to message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ) in addition to Kafka.
- Experience with datawarehouse solutions like Redshift.
