Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Azure Networking & Edge Services: Deep expertise in designing and managing secure, scalable network architectures using Azure Application Gateway, Front Door, Traffic Manager, and API Management (APIM).

Azure Security & Governance: Proven experience in implementing and managing a robust security posture using Azure Firewall, Microsoft Sentinel, Web Application Firewall (WAF), and Microsoft Defender for Cloud. Strong command of Azure Policy for governance and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for identity management.

Container Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications.

Azure PaaS Development Platforms: Proficient in developing and managing applications on Azure PaaS, including App Services (and App Service Environments - ASE), serverless computing with Functions & Logic Apps, and data services like Azure SQL and Cosmos DB.

Monitoring & Observability: Advanced skills in implementing comprehensive monitoring and observability solutions using industry-standard tools such as New Relic, Checkmk, or similar platforms to ensure application performance and reliability.

Automation & Scripting: Strong automation capabilities with expert-level scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python to streamline operations and manage infrastructure.

DevOps & CI/CD: Solid understanding of DevOps principles with practical experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated application delivery.
