Technical Project Manager @ Fluentgrid

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and deliver end-to-end technical projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
  
• Manage Agile/Scrum ceremonies sprint planning, backlog grooming, release management.
  
• Lead cross-functional teams (onsite/offshore) and provide technical guidance in Java/J2EE, Microservices, and Cloud technologies.
  
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and vendors to define requirements and ensure successful project outcomes.
  
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  
• Ensure quality standards, compliance, and governance in project execution.
  
• Drive digital transformation initiatives in the Utilities, Smart Metering, and E-Governance sectors.
  
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and dashboards for management and clients.

Preferred candidate profile

• 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in project management.
  
• Strong background in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, API development.
  
• Hands-on knowledge of Cloud (AWS/Azure), DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
  
• Experience in Utilities / Power / Energy / Smart Grid / AMI / CIS domain is highly desirable.
  
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale enterprise or digital transformation projects.
  
• Excellent skills in Agile/Scrum methodologies, stakeholder management, and risk management.
  
• Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
  
• PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or SAFe Agile certification preferred.
