 Sourcing Manager

Job Description

The Sourcing Manager is responsible for all business-related activities that Amdocs performs with its suppliers that are under his / her responsibility in order to optimize costs and savings.
All you need is...
  • Experience : 6 8 years of procurement experience with a focus on contingent workforce and deliverables (scope based) services procurement which should be minimum 3 years. Should have worked in Mid large sized MNC s with a proven track record.
  • Work Timing: Support US time zone (4 pm onwards)
  • Contingent Workforce Management:
      • Lead procurement strategies for contingent labor including staffing agencies, freelancers, and gig workers.
      • Partner with HR, Legal, and business units to ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
      • Manage vendor relationships, rate cards, and performance metrics for temporary labor providers.
      • Optimize usage of Vendor Management Systems (VMS) and ensure data accuracy and reporting.
  • Scope-Based Engagements:
      • Drive sourcing & delivery for project-based services (e.g. IT services)
      • Define and negotiate various types of Agreements and Statements of Work (SOWs), deliverables, milestones, and payment terms.
      • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clarity of scope, KPIs, and risk mitigation and strategies.
      • Monitor supplier performance and ensure delivery against contractual obligations.
  • Strategic Sourcing:
      • Conduct market analysis, supplier evaluations, and cost benchmarking.
      • Lead RFPs, RFIs, and contract negotiations to drive value and innovation.
      • Define & Execute category strategies with the help of Category Manager.
  • Governance & Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for all sourcing activities.
    • Support internal and external audits as required.
  • Skills:
  • Project Management skills to drive projects
  • Familiarity with agile project delivery and outcome-based contracting.
  • Understanding of supplier diversity and sustainability practices.
  • Excellent commercial Acumen & Negotiation skills
  • Excellent spoken English & Communication with Impact
  • Excellent Vendor Management
  • Knowledge of labor classification, co-employment risks, and global workforce regulations.
  • Excellent Presentation & Excel skills
  • Should be able to present deals to Senior Management
  • Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving
  • Experience with VMS tools (e.g., SAP Fieldglass, Beeline) and e-sourcing platforms.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in a matrixed, global organization.
  • Understanding of US Market and its business environment will be highly advantageous.
What will your job look like?
  • You will perform all procurement and contracting activities including pre-qualification of suppliers, tender management, negotiation and closure of contracts to obtain optimal total cost of ownership (cost, service, quality).
  • You will work closely with all Amdocs units in order to fully understand their needs from Procurement.
  • You will develop expert knowledge in the relevant procurement category center and work to implement the global category strategy and guidelines.
  • You will develop and maintain expert knowledge of respective global supply markets, competitors and product innovations.
  • You will identify cost reduction opportunities to achieve financial goals.
  • You will perform due diligence at new potential suppliers and pre-qualify them before initiating a business relationship.
  • You will lead the supplier selection processes (CBA).
  • You will own and conclude the appropriate legal Procurement agreements.
  • You will provide periodic reporting for management on Procurement activities and savings.
  • You will place purchase orders with suppliers and act as the owner of the entire P2P process.
  • You will conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential areas of improvement.
