Job Description
- Patient Care: Provide routine and high-risk obstetric and gynecological care, including prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal services.
- Examinations & Screenings: Conduct physical examinations, such as Pap smears, breast exams, and pelvic exams.
- Diagnosis & Treatment: Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, including infertility, sexually transmitted infections, fibroids, and various cancers of the reproductive system.
- Surgical Procedures: Perform various surgical interventions, from routine procedures like D&C and IUD placement to complex surgeries like hysterectomies and laparoscopies.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on reproductive health, family planning, contraception, and disease prevention.
- Collaborative Care: Work with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, midwives, and other specialists, to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Medical Records: Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including clinical notes and lab results.
- Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning to stay informed about new medical advancements, techniques, and best practices.
