Deputy Manager / Manager Power system studies @ LTIMindtree

Job Description

You should possess the following responsibilities: - Clearly articulate and communicate in English with global stakeholders. - Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of relevant electrical standards and codes such as IS, IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and NEC. - Stay updated on knowledge and continuously adapt to new technical skills. - Work independently and as a part of a team with minimal supervision while meeting target timelines. - Collect, validate, and model electrical networks in power system simulation tools like ETAP. - Be familiar with LV and high voltage power systems, including safety practices and design. - Conduct various studies and projects independently, including but not limited to: - Arc Flash Analysis (AC & DC) and modelling in ETAP. - Short Circuit Study. - Relay coordination and unit protection studies like Differential protection and Directional OC. - Transient Stability Analysis. - Motor Acceleration study (static and dynamic). - Reactive power compensation. - Unbalance Load flow & Steady state Load flow study. - Power evacuation studies for conventional and renewables. - Harmonics studies and filter design in both active and passive filters. - Earthing and Lighting studies & EMI/ Ground Potential rise study. - Modeling of WTG and Generator in detail. Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelors/Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. - Prior Experience: Minimum of 5 to 10 Years of similar experience. Required Softwares: - ETAP, SKM, & any other relevant power system study software.,
