As a Deputy Manager - Land Surveyor, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the total land survey for Solar and Wind projects, with a focus on the acquisition process of Wind land and Solar land in Karnataka. Key Points of Knowledge: - Conducting land surveys by measuring and mapping land boundaries, distances, and elevations using surveying instruments like GPS and Total Stations. - Identifying and marking boundaries for specific survey numbers on the field and collecting coordinate data for preparing Field Measurement Book (FMB) maps. - Proficiency in Auto-CAD for drafting and mapping purposes, as well as experience in topographic surveys to map natural and man-made features. - Researching legal records, survey documents, and land titles to understand the legal and historical context of land parcels. - Expertise in accurately finalizing and measuring land areas, fixing boundaries, and preparing corresponding FMB maps. - In-depth knowledge of the land acquisition process in the renewable energy sector, particularly in Karnataka. - Strong communication skills for resolving Right of Way (ROW) issues, land disputes, and boundary-related concerns. - Ability to lead teams and maintain accurate land records, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in local knowledge, especially in Kannada language, for reading documents, drafting applications, and conducting land NA conversion work. Principal Accountabilities: You will interact with Mid Management, Junior Management, Employees, Client Relations, Auditors, and Vendors to ensure effective coordination and communication within the organization. Experience: You should have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in land surveying and acquisition processes.
