Job Description
- As an AI Research Scientist at Cognizant, you will be joining the Advanced AI R&D lab team in Bangalore, India. You will collaborate with the research team to develop innovative solutions to complex scientific challenges using technologies like LLMs, evolutionary algorithms, and other AI techniques. Your focus will be on advancing Generative AI, LLMs, and domain-specific AI solutions to push the boundaries of AI technology. Your responsibilities will include conducting advanced research in AI/ML and Generative AI to address significant business and societal issues, designing and optimizing models with unique architecture and training methods, and publishing research findings in top-tier journals and conferences such as IEEE. You will work closely with product teams, AI engineers, domain experts, and clients to translate research into practical solutions, contribute to open-source communities, and mentor junior researchers and engineers. To qualify for this role, you should hold a PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, with exceptional candidates holding a bachelor's or master's degree also considered. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LLMs, at least 2 years of experience with multi-agent systems, 5+ years of AI or ML research experience, and a strong publication record in reputable conferences and journals. Additionally, you should possess strong implementation, development, and debugging skills in Python, familiarity with AI frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow, excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.,
