Job Description
- As a Finance Manager at CMR Group, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our educational conglomerate. You will be responsible for managing accounting processes, ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations, and leading the development of accurate budgets. Your role will require strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to collaborate effectively across departments. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, leading budgeting and forecasting processes, and conducting cost and profitability analysis to identify opportunities for optimization. You will also be responsible for ensuring timely tax filings, audits, and compliance with relevant laws and standards, as well as maintaining accurate financial records. In collaboration with department heads, you will lead the annual budgeting process to align with the company's strategic goals and financial targets. You will prepare detailed financial forecasts, provide variance analysis to support decision-making, and develop financial models to support budgeting and forecasting efforts and strategic planning initiatives. Tracking financial performance against budget and providing recommendations for cost control and process improvement will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you must hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification and have 4-5 years of experience in financial management and accounting. Experience working with educational institutions will be preferred. Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS), and financial reporting requirements is essential, along with previous experience in managing audits and tax reporting processes. Excellent skills in Excel and ERP/technology tools are also required for fast and accurate MIS.
