Job Description

The role of Chief Accounting Officer at The Verdant Group, a part of the Kanoria Group, involves overseeing financial statements, financial reporting, finance, Certified Public Accounting (CPA), and accounting. As a key member of the team, you will be based in Mumbai and will play a crucial role in the company's financial management and reporting. To excel in this position, you should possess strong skills in financial statements and financial reporting, finance, and accounting. A Certified Public Accounting (CPA) qualification is required, along with proven experience in financial management and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and a background in creating business plans and bankable DPRs. Candidates with experience in raising debt from banks, particularly in companies with a turnover of 200-500 crores, are preferred. The ability to work independently, lead teams, and thrive in a 24x7 work culture is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a commitment to meeting deadlines, will be key to success in this role.,
