Job Description
- As a Financial Analyst at Greenland Investment Management, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial statements, managing general ledger accounts, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, ensuring tax compliance, and supporting internal and external audits. Your expertise in financial analysis and process improvement will be essential in identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings. Your responsibilities will include preparing and maintaining financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. You will also be tasked with reconciling general ledger accounts to ensure the accuracy of all financial data. Additionally, you will assist in budget preparation, providing financial forecasts, conducting variance analysis, and offering valuable insights. Tax compliance is a critical aspect of your role, where you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations. This includes the preparation and submission of tax returns. You will also support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and financial reports. Your role will involve conducting financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or efficiency improvements. Through process improvement initiatives, you will identify and implement enhancements to the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function. Staying updated on changes in financial regulations and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and standards will be a key part of your responsibilities. Your qualifications should include a minimum of 3 years of experience in finance and accounting, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA preferred), proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.), and strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
