Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Design, develop, and enhance reusable Terraform modules for provisioning and managing Azure resources. Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Azure Pipelines, focusing on speed, reliability, and governance. Migrate existing manual infrastructure deployments to automated, code-driven Terraform workflows. Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices. Develop and maintain version-controlled repositories for Terraform code and pipeline configurations. Support ad hoc infrastructure requests, enhancement tickets, and change requests related to cloud infrastructure. Integrate security, compliance, and quality checks into CI/CD pipelines. Ensure proper approval workflows, rollback strategies, and release gating mechanisms are in place. Document solutions, modules, and pipeline logic to support knowledge sharing and operational readiness. Required Skills and Experience: Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, particularly in Azure resource provisioning. Proficient with Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines). Experience developing and managing Azure Pipelines (YAML-based CI/CD). Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and best practices. Strong focus on code modularization, reusability, and maintainability. Ability to troubleshoot and improve existing infrastructure deployments and pipelines. Understanding of DevSecOps principles, including how to integrate security and compliance into automation workflows. Nice to Have: Experience with pipeline integration for policy as code, security scanning, or compliance gates. Familiarity with container-based deployments and/or Kubernetes. Exposure to Agile methodologies and working in ticket-based systems (e.g., handling enhancements, ad hoc requests).
