Heres a job description (JD) for a QA Analyst with 3-6 years of experience in Finacle and Treasury application testing, based in Bangalore. QA Analyst - Finacle & Treasury Applications Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Analyst to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in testing banking applications, with a strong focus on Finacle and Treasury modules. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of our core banking and treasury management systems. This role requires a solid understanding of banking domain processes and a passion for delivering high-quality software. Key Responsibilities- Test Strategy & Execution: Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and test cases for Finacle and Treasury applications. This includes functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Requirement Analysis: Analyze and understand business requirements (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories to ensure complete test coverage.
- Defect Management: Identify, log, and track defects using a defect management tool like Jira, ensuring clear and concise documentation with steps to reproduce and root cause analysis.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product managers, to resolve issues and ensure smooth project delivery.
- Automation: Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks and scripts (e.g., using Selenium, UFT, or other tools) to improve testing efficiency.
- Reporting: Prepare and present test progress reports, defect reports, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Experience: 3-6 years of proven experience as a QA Analyst in the banking or financial services domain.
- Domain Expertise: Mandatory hands-on experience in testing Finacle Core Banking Solution and Finacle Treasury modules.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), with a focus on Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for database validation and data integrity testing.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with automation testing concepts and tools is a plus.
- Treasury Domain Knowledge: * Solid understanding of treasury products and processes, including money markets, foreign exchange (FX), fixed income, and derivatives.
- Knowledge of concepts like cash management, risk management, and trading operations.
- Familiarity with SWIFT messages (ISO 20022) is an advantage.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
