Job Position- AI Developer
Experience- 6+ years

Strategic purpose of the position:
The AI Developer bridges the gap between data science and software engineering, leveraging machine learning and AI to build scalable, production-ready solutions. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered applications using platforms such as Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry, ensuring seamless integration with Carlsbergs digital ecosystem.
Personal qualifications / competencies:
- Proven experience in data engineering, AI solution development, and ML model deployment.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Experience with Azure AI services including Azure OpenAI, and Azure AI Foundry plus Copilot Studio
- Knowledge of data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and orchestration tools (e.g. ADF, Databricks, Synapse). Experience with data integration and orchestration in Azure Data Factory and Fabric (or Apache Nifi etc) would be beneficial
- Familiarity with API development, microservices, and cloud-based architectures.
- Understanding of MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and model lifecycle management.
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data, including text and images.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Job responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain AI-driven applications using Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and Engineers to operationalize ML models into scalable solutions.
- Build and optimize data pipelines for AI workloads.
- Deploy AI models and ensure their performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Develop APIs and integrations to connect AI solutions with business applications.
- Implement monitoring and automation to maintain AI solutions in production.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand use cases and deliver impactful AI-driven solutions.
- Document methodologies and share best practices across teams.
Educational / Minimum Requirements:
Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, AI, or a related field. Certifications in cloud AI services, machine learning, or MLOps are advantageous.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in Python, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow
- Expertise in AzureAI (OpenAI, Foundry, Copilot Studio)
- Experience with data pipelines: ADF, Databricks, Synapse
- Familiarity with MLOps, CI/CD, and API development
- Ability to work with structured and unstructured data
