Job Description
The Role: Quality Analyst
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Analyst to monitor and improve the quality of operational processes, AI-powered products, or services. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues, recommend improvements, and ensure that quality standards are consistently met or exceeded.We expect them to have an aptitude for learning new domains and testing methodologies. Youll collaborate closely with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to develop and execute testing strategies that go beyond traditional QAcovering model behavior, edge cases, user interactions, and data integrity.
Required Experience: 3-5 years
What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test plans for AI-driven applications and platforms.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define quality standards, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Test functionality, performance, accuracy, and user experienceespecially around AI model outputs and data pipelines.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and anomalies in AI behavior or system performance.
- Validate model integration, data preprocessing, and real-world input handling.
- Monitor post-deployment performance and assist in root cause analysis of production issues.
- Assist in developing and implementing quality control systems and procedures.
What We're Looking For:
- Solid Fundamentals: 2-3 years of Hands-on with a whole range of functional and non-functional testing(Web, Api, Database, Big data, Performance, Security), preferably in tech startups or AI/ML-focused environments. Proven experience with dividing tests at different levels of the test pyramid.
- Automation Testing: Familiarity with Python, SQL, or scripting for test automation and data validation.
- Test Pyramid: Hands-on experience in writing tests at various levels of the test pyramid and also understand what tests to write when.
- Commitment to Quality: Able to build strategy around quality which leads the product team to successful delivery.
- Domain and Compliance Understanding: Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Security-First Approach: A good understanding of web application security principles.
