Software Development Engineer in Test II @ Akamai

Job Description

• Qualifying new and existing features of massively distributed data systems.
• Collaborating with developers and SQA teams to test products efficiently
• Creating and maintain robust test automation systems.
• Scoping out test plans based on design requirements and code changes
• Executing tests across environments, maintaining high automation pass percentage
• Investigating and analyze root causes of technical issues or performance bottlenecks.

• Have a Bachelors in CS/IT and related field and 2+ years of relevant experience
• Have experience in Automation and Manual testing
• Be proficient in Python, Java, and TestNG for automation coding
• Have expertise in API testing with Rest Assured, Requests library, or Postman
• Have hands-on experience in UI testing using Selenium or Playwright
• Have experience with Jenkins CI and solid understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, OS concepts.
