Job Summary:
The Architect of DevOps will lead the DevOps team to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of software products. This role involves overseeing the development, deployment, and maintenance of software systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of reliability, scalability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the DevOps strategy aligned with the companys goals.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing DevOps team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Work closely with software development, IT operations, and other stakeholders to streamline processes.
- Ensure clear communication and collaboration between development and operations teams.
- Advocate for DevOps best practices across the organization.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of infrastructure and applications.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Monitor and optimize system performance and reliability.
- Develop and enforce policies for system security and compliance.
- Plan and manage DevOps projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet project goals.
- Track and report on key performance metrics.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform).
- Strong knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of coding and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Proven experience in leading and managing DevOps teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
