Job Description
- You are an experienced Automation Tester with a solid background in data platform testing, playing a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products within the Med Tech and Healthcare industry. Your responsibilities include developing and executing automated test scripts utilizing Java, BDD, and Pytest frameworks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend software requirements and design test cases. Conducting API testing to validate functionality, performance, and security is a key part of your role. Identifying and reporting software defects, tracking issues, and ensuring timely resolution are also within your purview. Additionally, you will participate in test planning, estimation, and documentation activities, while staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in automation testing. You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and boast a minimum of 8+ years of experience as an Automation Tester, particularly in Big Data, ETL/ELT, and DW Testing. Proficiency in Java, Python programming languages, and Pytest frameworks is essential, along with extensive knowledge of API automation testing using tools like RestAssured or Postman. You are adept at UI testing using Selenium or Playwright and have experience with GIT, GIT CI/CD/Jenkins. Prior experience with AWS cloud is advantageous. Familiarity with software development methodologies and Agile practices, excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, strong communication and collaboration abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment are key attributes that you bring to the role.,
