Job Description
- As a Software Tester at Siemens Healthineers, you will be an integral part of our team dedicated to enhancing patient care and driving advancements in the medical field through quality software solutions. You will collaborate closely with testers in Slovakia and Germany, contributing to cross-functional, agile development teams to ensure the quality of our platform and integrated software solutions. Your responsibilities will include supporting the execution of manual and automated tests to identify defects, ensuring software quality, and maintaining compliance with the quality management system in the test team for future audit-proof releases of medical products. You will also play a key role in designing and implementing test automation frameworks and tools, conducting performance, scalability, and security testing, as well as identifying and reporting software defects effectively. To excel in this role, you should possess a Graduation or Post Graduation degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Medical/Life Sciences, along with at least 4 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance within the medical domain. Your strong knowledge of testing methodologies, architectures, and best practices, as well as proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks, will be essential. Experience with frameworks for medical products like Syngo and familiarity with R&D organizations and agile setups such as SAFe/SCRUM are highly valued. Additionally, expertise in the software development life cycle and software engineering processes of medical products, particularly in C#, MS Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, source control systems like TFS, requirement management systems, and test automation frameworks, will be beneficial. You should also demonstrate excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively in multi-cultural teams, and coordination skills to engage with various internal and external stakeholders globally. A proactive and self-motivated approach, along with the ability to multitask, work under pressure, and lead without authority are key attributes for success in this role.
