Job Description
1. Security Operations
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of security guards across all hospital shifts.
- Monitor access to hospital premises, including emergency entrances, wards, ICUs, and restricted areas.
- Conduct regular patrols to prevent unauthorized entry, theft, vandalism, or violence.
- Monitor and maintain CCTV systems, alarm systems, and access control equipment.
2. Emergency Response & Safety
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergency codes (e.g., Code Blue, Code Red), and incidents.
- Assist in managing crowd control during emergencies or high-traffic periods.
- Participate in fire drills and evacuation plans in coordination with hospital safety officers.
- Provide first-response support during incidents involving aggressive behavior or safety threats.
3. Policy Enforcement
- Enforce hospital rules and visitor regulations in a firm but courteous manner.
- Investigate and report incidents involving theft, assault, or other security breaches.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion, especially when dealing with sensitive medical areas or VIP patients.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain daily logs, incident reports, and visitor records.
- Submit detailed reports of security breaches or safety hazards to the Security Manager.
- Monitor and track lost and found items.
5. Team Supervision
- Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating new security staff.
- Assign duties and manage schedules to ensure 24/7 coverage.
- Conduct briefings to update the team on daily security priorities and incidents.
