Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Infrastructure Principal Cloud Engineer to lead our cloud architecture and infrastructure initiatives, driving innovation and efficiency in our Azure environments. you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing Azure cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Architectural Leadership: Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure Azure cloud architectures that align with business objectives and best practices.
* Technical Guidance: Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, ensuring adherence to cloud standards and governance.
* Cloud Strategy Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop cloud strategies, including migration plans , cost estimation , and optimization of existing services. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security, to support business objectives and technical requirements.
* Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. Proven experience in managing Azure cloud environments, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models. Strong expertise in Azure components such as Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking, and Azure Security.
* Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize Azure workloads for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency, leveraging Azure-native tools and services.
* Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices across Azure environments, ensure that Azure environments comply with industry standards and best practices for security and data privacy. Having a deep knowledge of compliance like - GDPR , HIPPA , ISO etc.
* Monitoring & Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions to proactively manage system performance and reliability and optimize cloud costs.
* Automation and IaC: Advocate for and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform , Azure Resource Manager. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI).
* Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, software engineering, and operations, to drive cloud adoption and innovation.
* Documentation and Standards: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architectures, standards, and procedures.
Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in Azure Infrastructure engineering, with a focus on Azure infrastructure and services.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills, ability to work under pressure with a strong attention to detail.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
