Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain user-facing features using React.js and modern JavaScript.
Build reusable, modular, and maintainable React components.
Ensure high performance, scalability, and responsiveness of React components.
Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers to implement features.
Integrate frontend applications with cloud services, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following React development best practices.
Optimize applications for performance, including lazy loading, code splitting, and server-side rendering.
Ensure cross-browser and device compatibility.
Contribute to unit and integration testing of React components.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing.
Leverage domain expertise in payments or financial services for business-critical features.
Must-Have Skills:
React.js: Deep expertise in React.js and its ecosystem (hooks, context, state management).
JavaScript & TypeScript: Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
UI Development: Solid experience in HTML5, CSS3, and building responsive, mobile-first UIs.
Cloud Integration: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
Version Control: Proficient with Git and modern version control workflows.
CI/CD: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern build tools.
Performance Optimization: Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills in React applications.
Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum development processes.
Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams (backend, product, UX/UI).
Good-to-Have Skills:
Testing Frameworks: Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress for frontend testing.
Performance Tools: Familiarity with performance tools like Lighthouse, Webpack, and Chrome DevTools.
Design Systems: Experience working with or contributing to design systems for UI consistency.
Micro Frontends: Experience with micro frontends or component-driven development.
Fintech Experience: Exposure to the payments, fintech, or card-based transaction systems.
